Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• 3–5 years in special procedures or interventional radiology preferred.
• ARRT certification and state license required where applicable.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and special procedures with fluoroscopy and radiography.
• Verify consent, prepare patients and provide post-procedure instructions.
• Position patients and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians and support equipment and workflow.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Track dosimetry badges and PPE; ensure safety checks.
• Educate staff on radiation safety and ALARA.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and documentation.
• Support inventory control and supply management.
• Monitor patients during conscious sedation and post-procedure.
• Schedule and coordinate workflow and train technologists or students.
• Review completed exams for technical accuracy and communicate with radiologist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
