Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• 3-5 years in special procedures, interventional radiology, or ambulatory surgical settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and special procedures using fluoroscopy, radiography, and other imaging modalities per physician orders and safety protocols
• Verify informed consent, prepare patients, explain procedures, and provide post-procedure instructions
• Position patients, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and assist physicians during procedures
• Maintain imaging equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory inspections are completed
• Educate staff on radiation safety and adherence to ALARA principles
• Support scheduling, workflow coordination, and training of technologists or students
• Review completed exams for technical accuracy and communicate results to radiologist
