Tenet Healthcare's DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our radiology team. Under supervision, you will perform diagnostic interventional exams with imaging equipment and verify patient records for exam appropriateness.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification (RT/VI/CV) and BLS, with ACLS or PALS within the required timeframe. A minimum of one year as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification (RT/VI/CV) required or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required by end of orientation.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for adult settings or PALS within 1 year for cardiology settings.
• 1+ year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic interventional exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Set up equipment and acquire images as per script.
• Review images, document deviations, and communicate with radiologist.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Provide post-care instructions as prescribed by physicians.
• Support radiology quality improvement and staff education.
