Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide patient care across age groups and to perform a range of radiologic procedures under licensure and certification guidelines. The role involves work with ionizing radiation for cardiac, neuro, and vascular studies.

Qualified candidates have two years of radiologic technology training and relevant Cardiovascular Technology credentials; ARRT certification is preferred and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal radiologic technology training approved by the AMA Council on Education.
• Successful completion of Cardiovascular Technology examination or formal training.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for patients of varying ages, families, and physicians.
• Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with ionizing radiation for cardiac, neuro, and vascular procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.
