The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/ Cardiovascular Technician to support high-volume cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology. You’ll work with a team of clinicians to ensure quality patient care and maintain safety in a dynamic environment.

Expected qualifications include NJ X-ray Tech certification, ARRT preferred, CPR certification, and 2 years radiologic technology training.

Qualifications

• Certification from the State of New Jersey X-ray Technician Board of Examiners required.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• CPR certification required and unit-based orientation.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and risk factors.
• Physical dexterity to operate sensitive equipment and perform tests.
• Strong interactive and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care within licensure and regulatory requirements.
• Perform procedures in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, RNs, and multidisciplinary staff.
• On-the-job training with experienced preceptors to build competence.
