Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies. Responsibilities include post-processing and strict adherence to established protocols across patient populations.

Graduates of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology programs or JRCERT-accredited training are welcome; ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required upon hire.
• Advanced ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping, ensuring protocols suit adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
