Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and GI studies, with post-processing and patient care responsibilities.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and BCLS certification. Experience is not required, and the hospital emphasizes adherence to established protocols across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies; performs modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record-keeping and patient care while following established protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
