Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology procedures under radiologist direction. Performs diagnostic/therapeutic IR procedures, operates RIS/PACS, and ensures patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient transport, positioning, contrast administration, quality control, departmental coordination, and rotation across sites as needed. Requires AZ CRT license, ARRT certification, BLS, and 10 months radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Associates from NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training Required.
• Bachelors from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient identification, orders, and history for correct patient and procedure.
• Transport patients to exam room and assist with positioning.
• Perform Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and monitor patient safety.
• Administer contrast materials and respond to contrast reactions.
• Ensure image quality and annotate as required by IR protocols.
• Utilize RIS, PACS and ancillary image management systems.
• Coordinate daily workflow for the department and rotate as needed.
