Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a per diem Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under physician direction. You will work with a team of physicians and nurses, ensuring safe, high-quality imaging and patient care in a dynamic IR suite.

The role requires 3-5 years of angiography experience, Massachusetts RT license, ARRT, and ACLS/BLS. Expect per diem scheduling based on department needs, with exposure to research and training activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Must be able to work in a 20lbs lead apron.
• Advanced technical computer skills as required for IR systems.
• Knowledge of IR lab inventory.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in Angiography (Special Procedures).
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologist/vascular surgeon in diagnostic and invasive IR procedures.
• Operate imaging/interventional equipment and evaluate image quality.
• Manage supply inventory, expirations and stocking; maintain records.
• Troubleshoot modalities to complete IR and vascular procedures.
• Provide patient-friendly care and participate in on-call coverage.
