Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school or program of Radiology Technology.
• Current RT(R) registration with ARRT.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Cardiology Interventional Registry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces angiography images and specialized studies under physician direction.
• Obtains history and evaluates for contraindicating conditions.
• Reviews physician's report and scrubs for procedures.
• Administers contrasts by injection or IV line.
• Takes and monitors vital signs and applies shielding and sterile fields.
• Operates and maintains angiography equipment and film processors.
