Job summary

IR Centers in Merriam, KS is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our outpatient endovascular lab.

You will prepare patients and rooms, maintain sterile technique, assist with procedures by passing instruments, and help with patient positioning and transfers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include ARRT and a valid BLS, with IR technologist experience of at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures.
• Reviews patient orders to determine materials and sets up/cleans procedure rooms.
• Assists with patient prep, transfers, and positioning.
• Operates the C-Arm and assists physicians during interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance, labels IV medications, and archives x-ray images.
• Manages equipment maintenance and supply inventory; handles hazardous waste disposal.
• May assist with accreditation surveys and radiation safety.
• Ensures clear communication with physicians and staff; assists with billing and CPT/ICD codes.
