Job summary

The University of Miami Health System in Miami, FL is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist 2 to support interventional radiology and complex procedures on-site. You will operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images with the least radiation exposure while assisting interventional physicians.

This full-time role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT and BLS certification, and a strong focus on patient care, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist during procedures with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic practice throughout procedures.
• Position patients and obtain high-quality scout images with minimal radiation.
• Monitor patient status and provide education and reassurance as needed.
