Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist – Level II for Interventional Radiology. This role performs complex radiographic procedures with focus on high-quality images and minimized radiation exposure, supervising in the absence of leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, supervising staff, training physicians and developing new protocols alongside radiologists and researchers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging Program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
• Supervises and performs diagnostic imaging studies under radiologist supervision.
• Assist with education and training of new physicians.
• Assist radiologists and PhD’s in developing new protocols and Ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Participate in research initiatives and develop protocols; act as a team leader.
