Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic and interventional imaging with sterile technique. The role includes on-call coverage, patient monitoring, and collaboration with physicians to ensure precise imaging and documentation.

The candidate will maintain lead ethics, support education for radiography students, and participate in ongoing quality improvement in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess a current Radiography license as required by the state board where services will be provided.
• Must be nationally certified as ARRT upon hire or within required timeframe.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets Hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and prepares entry site for procedures.
• Monitors patient ECG and blood pressure; communicates with physician.
• Participates in on-call rotation and emergent procedures 24 hours a day.
• Documents procedures accurately; assists with inventory control and billing.
