Job summary

The County of Santa Clara is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist with Interventional Radiology experience to perform specialized radiology procedures in the CCL/IRL. You will assist physicians, operate CT and angiography equipment, and ensure quality imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required two years as a diagnostic imaging technologist and six months IR experience, with CRT and fluoroscopy licenses.

Qualifications

• Two years as a diagnostic imaging technologist.
• Six months experience performing interventional radiology procedures.
• Licenses and certifications: CRT, Fluoroscopy, ARRT (R/CV/CI/VI).
• BLS certification and ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional, neurovascular, and vascular radiology procedures with IR physicians.
• Assist vascular surgeons with cases in the operating room.
• Operate CT scanner for biopsies and abscess-guided procedures; use PACS to file images.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and procedure room cleanliness; ensure radiation safety.
• Record, track, and bill procedures and supplies; show adherence to HIPAA and JCAHO.
