Job summary

County of Santa Clara's Santa Clara Valley Healthcare seeks a skilled radiology professional to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL). Under supervision, you’ll scrub in, assist physicians, manage equipment, and ensure patient safety across multiple hospital sites.

Candidates must have valid CRT and fluoroscopy licenses (California) and ARRT CV/CI/VI or RCIS certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires valid California CRT license.
• Requires California Fluoroscopy license.
• ARRT CV/CI/VI or RCIS certification preferred.
• Six years IR experience including two in CCL.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the CCL.
• Assist physicians during cardiovascular, interventional, and angiographic procedures.
• Archive images in PACS/CVIS and verify proper storage and naming.
• Operate advanced equipment and provide patient flow management in the CCL.
• Monitor radiation safety and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and drape patients, position equipment, and manage supplies.
• Assist with on-call duties as required.
