Job summary

The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist at CHRISTUS Health in Tyler, TX assists with fluoroscopy, CT, laser and ultrasonography during vascular and neuroradiology procedures. You will help with patient flow, circulating and scrubbing, and coordinate scheduling and patient teaching.

This PRN/per diem role supports the IR labs and radiology team. Requires ARRT VI, Texas MRT or state licensure, BLS, and 1 year IR experience; basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• 1 year of training/experience in special procedures/IR required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and scrubbing during interventional procedures.
• Assist radiologists and referring physicians to ensure patient throughput.
• Maintain PACS workflow and manage equipment and inventory.
• Follow policies, confidentiality and state/federal regulations.

Basic computer experience

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent

Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT

Current state Licensure (Texas MRT or equivalent)
