Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic/interventional procedures and post-processing while ensuring patient comfort and safety across age groups.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and AMA/JRCERT credentialing, with ARRT VI/CI preferred. This on-site position follows a 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule and supports a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.
• Advance ARRT certification by VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography and biopsies according to protocol.
• Completes post-processing and maintains documentation and patient care records.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols and ensures age-appropriate patient care.
• Upholds radiation safety policies and dose reduction practices.
