Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, position patients, and ensure quality imaging across age groups. The role emphasizes protocol adherence, patient safety, and precise documentation.

Minimum education includes AMA/JRCERT-accredited training, and ARRT registration with BLS; ARRT VI/CI is preferred. Work is performed in a hospital setting with opportunities for advancement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS Certified
• Advance Certification by ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and related drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing, maintains records, and follows protocols appropriate for adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Adheres to radiation safety policies and provides patient education in accordance with standards.
