Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA invites you to join as an Interventional Rad Technologist. The role involves patient setup, imaging, and procedure support in a dynamic IR suite.

Eligible candidates have ARRT IR certification, MA/RI licensure, BLS, and a commitment to ALARA practices. A $12,000 new hire sign-on bonus applies to this position. 32 hours per week, day shift with rotation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Post-primary ARRT certification in Interventional Radiology RT(VI)/(CI)/(CV).
• BLS certification is required.
• Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and ACLS preferred.
• RT Licensure in MA and/or RI.
• Registration with ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International is required.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified clinical patient care within Interventional Radiology as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Position patient, select imaging equipment, and document data in EHR.
• Administer pharmaceuticals related to exams and adjust technical factors to optimize images.
• Apply ALARA and ensure MR safety practices where applicable.
• Assist physicians in interventional procedures.
