Job summary

Parkwest Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic angiography and complex vascular procedures. The role involves catheterization, ultrasound for access, sterile technique, and operating interventional equipment.

The candidate will work with radiologists, surgeons and anesthesia teams, coordinate scheduling, and contribute to patient safety and quality initiatives in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiology Technologist ARRT (R) registration and state licensure per Tennessee requirements.
• Advanced certification in VI/CV/CI or RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist, surgeon and/or anesthesiologist in diagnostic angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Perform ultrasound for vascular access and measure vascular parameters.
• Handle catheterization equipment and ensure sterile technique; operate instruments as needed.
• Coordinate procedures with other departments and schedule IVR/Hybrid/Cath Lab activities.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety standards, and ongoing staff education.
