Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, seeks a Radiologic Technologist – Special Procedures/Cath Lab to support complex imaging during interventional cardiovascular procedures, including embolization and cardiac catheterizations. You will prepare equipment, administer contrast under supervision, and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluoroscopy license.
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• ACLS completed within 6 months of hire.
• 6 months to 1 year as a Rad Tech in an acute care facility

Responsibilities

• Perform highly specialized imaging procedures to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures.
• Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique
• Provide real time image guidance during procedures such as embolization, peripheral angiography, cardiac catheterizations, drain placements, pacemaker/ICD insertions
• Assist with patient assessment and preparation, contrast administration under supervision, documentation, equipment maintenance, and emergency response
