Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Cardio-Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Endovascular team. You will perform endovascular imaging and interventions, maintain sterile technique, and assist with equipment setup and patient care for various cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires strong knowledge of interventional radiology, anatomy, and radiologic safety, with emphasis on accurate data recording, patient comfort, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years post-high school training in Radiologic Technology.
• Interventional CVIR or Cardiac Catheterization lab clinical training.
• Massachusetts radiography license and ARRT certification.
• ACLS, BLS, telemetry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Endovascular Suite procedures per physician instructions.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Record hemodynamic data and monitor patient status.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA principles.
