LiveWell Homecare Agency in Scranton, PA seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to independently perform or assist with cardiac, neuro, body, and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, medication administration, imaging with equipment, safety and sterile technique, image evaluation, and data management.

The role emphasizes education of students and healthcare team members, ACLS/PALS certifications, and ARRT-R certification with ongoing advanced credentials.

Competenze

• ARRT-R certification required; advanced certifications within two years.
• Cardiology candidates require specialized training or ARRT certification, ACLS and PALS.
• Strong safety, patient care skills and ability to educate others.

Mansioni

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for accuracy and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Perform and assist with diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and interventional procedures.
• Maintain intra-arterial access, perform manual hemostasis, and operate monitoring devices.
• Initiate ACLS protocols when necessary and practice sterile techniques.
• Record hemodynamic and electrogram data during procedures.
