Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to assist physicians with complex interventional radiology and therapeutic procedures while maintaining radiation safety and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology.
• Three years of Interventional Radiology (Special Procedures) or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Experience with scrubbing preferred.
• Ability to participate in on-call schedule for interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides care appropriate to the patient including pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
• Interacts professionally with patients and families with respect and dignity.
• Stays current with technology and techniques through continuing education and seminars.
• Operates x-ray equipment and manages radiation safety and image handling.
