Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for the Special Procedures section. You perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor patients, operate x-ray equipment, and assist as scrub, float, and imaging technologist.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, prep patients, maintain safety with radiation and contrast, and document care. You also participate in QA activities and ongoing department improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology is required.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• CV or VI registry is required; VI registry eligible within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures within Special Procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures with radiation protection and infection control.
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians on orders, scheduling, and patient care documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and support QA and department improvement initiatives.
