Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Operates imaging equipment independently per protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Performs quality control procedures per standards and notifies when needed.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and care practices to patient population.
• Performs other related duties as required.
