Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Dallas to join a newly expanded IR department. The role involves performing IR procedures under radiologist supervision, with emphasis on patient communication, safety, and accurate documentation.

You will support a high-volume lab, participate in on-call shifts, and benefit from a comprehensive program including tuition reimbursement and significant relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited IR program.
• IR Tech experience preferred in a busy lab; Neuro and Trauma experience preferred.
• BLS within 30 days; ARRT-R/CI/VI/CV licensing within 2 years; Texas MRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality IR procedures according to exam protocol and maintains imaging quality.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to identify needs and obtain consent.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and sets exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Maintains medical imaging records and documentation.
