Qualifications

• Interventional radiology procedures performed under radiologist supervision.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET to identify service needs.
• Maintain safety and infection-control practices according to policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol.
• Ensures correct exam is performed on the correct patient and explains test to patient and family.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and adjusts equipment for exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Screens people entering the department according to approved policies.
