Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dedicated Radiology Imaging practice. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images for vascular, neuroradiology and OR areas while assisting physicians and circulating/scrubbing during procedures.

The role requires competence with a variety of electronic systems and interventional equipment, with flexibility to staff multiple locations and shifts, including on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images for vascular, neuroradiology, or OR areas that meet department standards.
• Acts as a liaison to convey information pertaining to patient status.
• Prepares procedure rooms and preps patients for procedures; assists physicians in procedure by circulating and scrubbing.
• Operates a variety of interventional equipment and cleans and restocks procedure rooms after procedures.
• Follows safety guidelines, fosters teamwork through effective communication and personal responsibility.
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and respond to on-call pager including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
