Job summary

Mayo Clinic Florida seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in vascular and neuro interventional suites. You will work with radiologists and surgeons, preparing rooms, maintaining sterile technique, and using fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment.

Requirements include ARRT certification, Florida radiography license, and BLS within 90 days. One to two years of IR technologist experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and Florida radiography license required.
• 1–2 years of technologist experience in IR preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of start date.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic imaging for Vascular and Neuro Interventional Radiology suites.
• Proficient with diverse electronic systems and equipment.
• Acts as intraoperative first assist to radiologists and surgeons.
• Prepares interventional rooms and maintains sterile technique.
• Operates fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Supports advanced procedures including IR Oncology and stroke interventions.
