Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional radiology. You will perform procedures, educate patients and families, operate equipment safely, and complete documentation.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS registration and BLS, with strong communication and lifting capacity. Sentara offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive, patient-focused environment at our Level III Trauma Center in Virginia

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT or RCIS registration and BLS certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; patient education emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide patient and family education and guidance.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and accurately.
• Complete department documentation and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory and participate in Performance Improvement activities.
