The Interventional Technologist II at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital will support neuro-interventional, vascular and interventional radiology (IR) procedures in the Vascular and Interventional Center. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain sterile fields, and assist physicians across a range of neuro, IR and vascular cases.

The role requires expertise in radiologic imaging, patient care, and safety protocols in high-acuity settings, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00

Position Summary

The Interventional Technologist II at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital will play a critical role in the Vascular and Interventional Center (VIC). This position involves assisting in neuro-interventional, vascular and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. The technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, maintain sterile fields, and support physicians throughout a variety of procedures, including those for neuro, IR and vascular conditions. The role requires expertise in radiological imaging, patient care, and safety protocols in neuro, IR and vascular settings.

Physical Demands

• Ability to assist in positioning and lifting patients (up to 50 lbs).
• Stamina to stand and assist in procedures for extended periods.
