Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a reputable hospital located in Morristown, NJ. This role requires technical expertise in operating radiologic equipment, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. The schedule for this position is 5-days per week, 11AM – 7PM.

The base pay range for this position is $55 to $65 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by positioning them, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to capture real-time images during procedures.
• Assist the interventional radiologist with procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs during procedures, alerting the team to any significant changes.
• Document all relevant patient information, procedure details, and imaging results in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Ensure all radiology equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning before and after procedures.
