Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist I for Huntersville Medical Center to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging, ensuring patient safety and high-quality radiographs.

The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification, licensure, and at least 1 year in Diagnostic Radiology, with Cath Lab or interventional experience preferred. You will join a collaborative acute care team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Required ARRT-certified radiographer with state licensure.
• Minimum 1 year in Diagnostic Radiology as described.
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For:

• ARRT (R) required
• 1 year experience in Diagnostic Radiology
• Prior Cath Lab or Interventional Procedure experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

What You’ll Do

The Interventional Radiology Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required.
  • IV Credentialed, preferred.
  • Applicable state licensure, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of interventional procedure and activity.
