An Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional trained to assist physicians during minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures in the radiology department. The role involves ensuring the safe and accurate execution of procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, and catheterizations. The technologist combines technical expertise with compassionate patient care to facilitate successful outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.
One weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning) and four weekdays (Monday–Thursday) per 12‑week cycle. Call schedule is set during orientation.
One year of clinical experience in radiology is highly recommended.
