Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No minimum experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT licensure required by law.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography and related studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and maintains patient records.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols for adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Maintains radiation safety and dose-reduction practices.
• Provides patient education and clear communications.
• Positions patients and selects appropriate protocols for exams on all ages.
• Maintains competencies across related imaging components.
