Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to perform comprehensive patient care across interventional labs, including cath, IR, neuroIR, and EP procedures. A $15,000 sign‑on bonus is available, with flexible learning opportunities across departments and on‑call duties within 30 minutes for emergent procedures.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program (or AS in Radiologic Technology) and hold ARRT certification, IEMA licensure,

ARRT Certification required.
IEMA Licensure required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of interventional procedure prep, setup, and execution while maintaining patient safety.
Assist with sterile technique, room setup, and post-procedure cleanup per department policy.
Document intra‑procedural data in the medical record and ensure accurate coding of procedures and supplies.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and biomedical staff to facilitate efficient case workflow.
Provide on‑call coverage for emergent procedures and respond within 30 minutes for cardiac and IR cases.
