Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology to support minimally invasive procedures with advanced imaging guidance. The role focuses on patient preparation, real-time imaging, and close collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate, safe interventions.

The ideal candidate will assist with angiograms, stent placements, and biopsies, while maintaining sterile technique, documenting procedures, and monitoring patient comfort throughout the care cycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during procedures.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
