Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in Interventional Radiology to assist in minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging to guide interventions. You will work closely with physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation and equipment maintenance. On-call duties may be required as part of interventional care teams.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• Current Radiologic Technologist license for the state.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures and position them correctly.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment for real-time guidance.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic/therapeutic interventions like angiograms, stents, biopsies.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control during procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
