Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology to support minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging to guide interventions. You’ll ensure precise imaging, safety, and patient comfort throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

The role emphasizes sterile technique, real-time imaging, and collaboration with physicians and nurses in fast-paced hospital settings, with on-call responsibilities typical in interventional suites.

Qualifications

• Experience in interventional radiology procedures is preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and sterile technique.
• Ability to monitor and respond to patient vital signs during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and explain the process.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to guide procedures in real time.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
