Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional procedures. You will perform diagnostic and interventional studies including angiography, venography, and biopsies, while ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.

Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training is required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program (Required).
• No experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT, BCLS required upon hire; ARRT VI/CI advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies; performs drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Ensures use of established protocols and techniques for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Maintenance of patient safety and care standards throughout procedures.
