Job Summary and Qualifications

• Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologists in Special Radiology procedures.
• Ensures radiation safety.

Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• MRT certification from the State of Texas.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required.
• Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Associate Degree from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
• Three to five years of experience in Specials interventional radiology preferred.
