Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform interventional radiology procedures under a Radiologist's supervision. The role includes patient communication, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining imaging and procedural documentation.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment setup, and ensuring accurate patient records while maintaining high-quality imaging standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Must obtain one of ARRT-CI/ARRT-CV/ARRT-VI within two years of hire.
• Interventional radiology certification pathway preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and explain tests.
• Prepares patient and area for procedures and positions patient.
• Follows safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and reports issues.
• Screens individuals entering the department for safety.
• Obtains and maintains all relevant patient documentation.
• Maintains imaging records in accordance with policies.
