Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures under a Radiologist's supervision, following established protocols to diagnose disease and injury.

The role requires ARRT-R Radiography certification and the ability to communicate clearly with patients using AIDET, while maintaining safety, documentation, and equipment standards. On-call may be required in some shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
• Ability to follow exposure protocols and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiology procedures per protocol.
• Monitors radiation dose and acts if reference levels are exceeded.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and families.
• Prepares patient and equipment for exams.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness.
• Maintains imaging records and documentation.
• Screening and ensures safety per policies.
• Assists with supplies inventory.
• On-call availability if required.
