Job summary

Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional radiology procedures. You will educate patients and families, operate imaging equipment safely, and ensure accurate documentation.

Eligible candidates have completed a Radiologic Technology Program and are ARRT or RCIS registered with BLS certification. You must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and collaborate in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT or RCIS registration and BLS certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently; maintain equipment.
• Complete department documentation accurately.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for examinations.
• Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
