Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in California is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to support routine diagnostic and interventional studies. You will collaborate with the technical supervisor and medical director to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.

The role includes educating patients and families about procedures, providing pre/post instructions, and fulfilling on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher; ARRT Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• One year of prior hospital experience in special procedures; cross training may occur.
• Cardiology department experience preferred (cardiac, endovascular or electrophysiology).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technical supervisor and medical director to perform high-quality routine/general diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and provide pre/post instruction as applicable.
• Document procedures, patient events, and equipment issues accurately; handle call responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

Associates Degree or higher; ARRT Radiologic Technology program

One year of prior hospital experience in special procedures

Cardiology department experience preferred
