Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Loveland, CO, seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a full-time, 80-hour biweekly schedule. The role performs imaging, diagnostic, and interventional procedures for cardiac/vascular conditions, with dedicated stroke call and on-site duties.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, ensuring patient understanding, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or health science credential; ARRT(R) or Cardiac Technologist program.
• VI/CI/RCES/RCIS certification required.
• 6 months’ experience with interventional procedures.
• BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs interventional imaging and procedures; acts as subject matter expert.
• Assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac/vascular procedures; analyzes imaging results.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and exam; monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; troubleshoots equipment; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; performs quality control.
