Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and vascular conditions. This on-site, full-time role involves four rotating 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with stroke call responsibilities.

Required qualifications include ARRT(R) radiologic technologist certification (or VI/CI RCIS/RCES eligibility), at least 6 months in interventional procedures, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent health science program.
• Graduate of an ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist program or Cardiac Interventional program.
• Certified in VI/CI RCES/RCIS or eligible for certification.
• Minimum 6 months of interventional procedure experience.
• BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross with valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs interventional imaging procedures and supports physician in procedures.
• Assesses image quality, analyzes results, and resolves issues as needed.
• Educates patients about procedures and ensures cooperation and safety.
• Prepares equipment, maintains safety standards and routine QC on imaging equipment.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
