Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support procedural work in the OR at Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland. The role is PRN with a flex schedule and on-site work, performing advanced imaging tasks and operating C-arm and O-arm equipment according to policy and standards.

Candidates must be ARRT-registered, have an accredited program background, and at least two years of OR or procedural navigation experience, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist; state licensure as required.
• Minimum Experience: Two years of OR or procedural navigation duties.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media and medications within scope; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; ensure safety; perform quality control; troubleshoot issues.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results; manage image quality; may work with students.
• Operate with critical thinking; work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
